Dr. Noman Arshed

Dr. Noman Arshed is a Lecturer in the Department of Business Analytics at Sunway Business School, Sunway University, Malaysia. He holds a PhD in Islamic Banking & Finance, an MSc in Economics, and a BSc in Economics. He teaches Research Methodology, Econometrics, Business Analytics, and Data Analysis using R, and has published extensively in top international journals on topics such as FinTech, climate change, renewable energy, and sustainable economic growth.

With expertise in R and Python programming, Dr. Arshed specializes in integrating advanced econometrics with machine learning to drive innovation in business and sustainability. His research interests include AI & strategic management, AI & sustainability, business analytics in banking and education, and advanced econometric applications.

Dr. Arshed’s work strongly aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in areas of Affordable and Clean Energy, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Climate Action, and Partnerships for the Goals.
